Ebbe Hanson Family – 1905

This is another antique store photo I rescued recently from an establishment in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  This family is not related to me, but there was enough information on the picture that I could identify the people in it.  So I present to you the family of Ebbe Hanson, taken about 1905.  The back of the photograph says “Hanson Family.  Back Row: Clarence (behind his mother), Amelia, William.  Front row: Agnes or Aggie between parents.”

About cthomas1967

Seeking to bring my ancestors out of the shadows of history and into the light. I have always been interested in history, and at a few different times I tried to do a family tree, but wasn't able to do it with the technology that was available then. On a business trip I visited the World War I Museum in Kansas City, MO and it was a very impressive establishment. While I was there I remember thinking, "Didn't my great-grandfather father fight in World War I? And wasn't his brother killed alongside him in some famous battle? I wonder if I can find out where he died." That's what started it all. View all posts by cthomas1967

I believe Amelia Hanson May be my great grandmother. She had a daughter( at age 16)
Viola Hanson on October 13,1902,whom she gave up for adoption
.It was a private adoption. Lynn and Barbara Burdick adopted her. Lynn burned her birth certificate because it had “ illegitimate “ stamped across the front. My grandmother did not find out she was adopted until she was 50 years old. Her mother, Barbara, told her the family’s name was Hanson from Eau Claire. Would appreciate more information, if you have it.
